We created VinoRoma to be the antithesis of the stuffy, intimidating wine bar. Located in the historic heart of Rome, our wine studio is a sanctuary where education meets enjoyment. We focus on independent, low intervention producers, native grapes, and the ‘terroir’ that makes Italian wine unique. We don’t just pour wine; we share the stories behind the labels.

We believe that to truly understand Italian culture, you must understand its wine. We bypass the commercial giants to feature small, artisanal producers who work with native grapes and sustainable methods. Every pour is a lesson in history, geography, and tradition—selected not just for its taste, but for the story it tells.
But education shouldn’t be dry. Our tastings are designed to be social, interactive, and fun. We operate as a strict “snob-free zone” where questions are encouraged. Whether you are a complete beginner or a seasoned collector, our goal is to make you feel at home while you explore the complexities of Italian wine.

An Italian-Canadian educator who traded commercial wine for the artisanal world in order to champion the best independent, low-intervention producers.

Sommelier & Event Specialist.
A Roman resident since 2003, this Italian-Ecuadorian pairing expert brings warmth and technical mastery to every bespoke event and culinary experience.
