Terms and Conditions
Welcome to VinoRoma. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website located at vinoroma.com (the “Site”) and your booking, registration, or participation in any wine tastings, courses, masterclasses, or private events (collectively, the “Services”) organized by VinoRoma di Di Franco Maurizio Arsenio (“VinoRoma”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By accessing our Site or booking a Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our Site or book our Services.
1. Services and Educational Scope
VinoRoma operates as an independent education and training center. Our tastings, masterclasses, and courses (including the Wine Unfiltered programs) are strictly for educational and experiential purposes. VinoRoma provides tasting experiences and instruction; we do not operate as a retail wine merchant, and alcohol is not sold for off-site consumption.
2. Age Restrictions and Guest Eligibility
- Legal Drinking Age: In compliance with Italian law, you must be at least 18 years of age to purchase, register for, or participate in any tasting experience involving alcohol. By booking a Service, you warrant that you and all members of your party are of legal drinking age. We reserve the right to request valid government-issued photo identification at the venue.
- Minors and Children: VinoRoma is an adult-oriented environment. Children under the age of 12 are not permitted in the studio during public tastings. Minors aged 13 to 17 may attend public tastings under the strict supervision of a parent or legal guardian, provided they do not consume alcohol.
3. Booking, Payment, and Financial Terms
- Payment: All fees for public tastings, masterclasses, and courses must be paid in full at the time of booking via our online reservation system to secure your seat.
- Private Groups and Events: Private event bookings are subject to specific quote agreements. A non-refundable deposit is required to secure the date, and the final guaranteed participant headcount and remaining balance must be finalized and paid prior to the event date as specified in your private contract.
4. Cancellations, Date Changes, and Refunds
- Public Tastings & Masterclasses: Because seating is strictly limited, all sales for specific dates are final. If you are unable to attend, you must notify us via email as early as possible. While we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate date-change requests subject to availability, we cannot guarantee rescheduling. Cancellations or modifications requested less than 48 hours before the scheduled event time are entirely non-refundable and ineligible for rescheduling.
- Course and Masterclass Commitments: For multi-session programs (such as Wine Unfiltered), fees are paid for the complete course block. Missed individual sessions cannot be refunded, credited, or automatically made up in future course cycles.
- Cancellations by VinoRoma: Public tastings require a minimum of 2 participants to run. VinoRoma reserves the right to cancel an event if minimum attendance is not met or due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., educator illness, force majeure). In the rare event that we must cancel, you will be offered the choice of a full refund or a credit to reschedule to a future date.
5. Health, Allergies, and Conduct
- Dietary Restrictions: VinoRoma provides simple accompaniments (such as artisanal taralli crackers) intended solely as palate cleansers. Our studio is not an allergen-free facility. Guests are entirely responsible for managing their own dietary restrictions and severe allergies, and VinoRoma accepts no liability for undisclosed or severe allergic reactions.
- Code of Conduct: We promote an open, educational, and respectful environment. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to refuse service, deny entry, or remove any participant from the venue who exhibits signs of extreme intoxication, disruptive behavior, or inappropriate conduct toward our staff or other guests. No refunds or credits will be issued in such instances.
6. Intellectual Property
All content featured on this Site and within our educational courses—including text, graphics, logos, images, course structures, titles, and curriculum materials—is the exclusive intellectual property of VinoRoma di Di Franco Maurizio Arsenio. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or repurpose any material from our Site or courses for commercial purposes without our express, written consent.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VinoRoma, its owner, and its educators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Site, attendance at our studio, or participation in our experiences. We are not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings brought into the studio.
8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms, your use of the Site, and any contractual agreements for our Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Italy. Any legal disputes or claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or our Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Rome, Italy.
9. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted directly to this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the Site or booking of Services following any updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
