Booking & Logistics

  • How do I book? Select your event and date on our calendar. All major credit cards are accepted as well as PayPal. You’ll receive an automated confirmation email immediately—please check your spam folder if you don’t see it!
  • Can I pay in person? To ensure we can accommodate everyone and prevent no-shows, all bookings must be prepaid online.
  • What if I need to change my date? Email us as early as possible. We’ll do our best to move your booking to a new date. If we are unable to do so, it will be handled as a cancellation.
  • Can I buy a tasting as a gift? Yes! You can purchase a gift voucher for any amount or a specific tasting here.

The Experience

  • Do I need to be a wine expert? Not at all. Our tastings are designed to inform and entertain everyone, regardless of your level of knowledge. We have a strict “no-snobbery” policy.
  • What languages are offered? Group tastings are held in English. Private tastings can be arranged in Italian or Spanish upon request.
  • How many people will be there? All of our tastings require a minimum of 2 people and are usually capped at 12 to keep the conversation lively and intimate.
  • Is food served? To keep your palate neutral and focus on the wine, we serve water and traditional artisanal taralli (crunchy, olive-oil-based Italian crackers).
  • Which wines will we taste? We feature a curated selection of 100% Italian wines, most of which are natural or low-intervention, sourced from small producers we know personally.
  • Can I buy wine to take home? As an educational social club, we do not sell wine. However, we’ll gladly point you toward our favorite local wine shops in Rome!

Good to Know

Can I bring my kids? VinoRoma is an adult-oriented environment. Children under 12 are not admitted to our tastings. Teenagers (13–18) are welcome if they can quietly entertain themselves. Please note the legal drinking age in Italy is 18.

The “Palate Rule”: To get the most out of your experience, please avoid brushing your teeth or wearing strong perfume/cologne right before the tasting, as these mask the delicate aromas of the wine.
