“San Timorasso” Film Screening and Tasting

This month we’re excited to invite in documentary filmmaker Andrea Mignólo for a screening of his most recent film San Timorasso, all about the historic Timorasso grape variety cultivated in the Colli Tortonesi in southern Piedmont, an area known also by its ancient name: Derthona.

The 60-minute documentary film, featuring interviews with Walter Massa, Elisa Semina of La Colombera, Andrea Mutti, Gianpaolo Repetto, Daniele Ricci, Andrea Tirelli, Ottavio Rube of Valli Unite and Enio Ferretti of La Morella, will be screened in its entirety (the film is in Italian with English subtitles) and will be followed by a Q&A with the director along with a tasting of 4 distinct versions of this unique grape produced by 4 iconoclasts of the area. The wines will be paired with traditional foods of the area, including salame and cheese made by small local farmers.

We’re excited to share this unique experience with you all…a chance to view up close and personal just what it takes to create this historic wine and then to taste the end result itself!

This event will take place on Sunday 27 October starting at 6pm. Space is limited, so book your spot below!
