Mark: Discovering Artisanal Wines in the Marche Region

Backpack over his shoulders and Mark is ready to explore, and introduce us to, the Marche region to discover the artisanal wines made there. Our character’s name actually comes from the name “Marche,” from the Germanic “Mark”, meaning border. The origin of the area’s name dates back to the period of the Holy Roman Empire, as the region established one of the borders of its territory.

On Sunday, February 25 at 6pm, at our wine studio, we will venture into this land of countless variations of food and wine. Amongst the sea, the hills and the valleys we will tell the story of Marche through five wines selected by VinoRoma and Mattia Morgante, all accompanied by dishes created by Mashroom co-owner and chef Matteo Sperati; tapas inspired by the traditions of Marche and its connection to both land and sea.
